New Name. Same Credit Union.
After nearly 80 years as Badger Globe Credit Union, we are changing our name to Linden Credit Union. In early October, you’ll begin to see our new name and look, along with a new website and updated mobile app.
Here’s a quick look at what’s not changing:
Your accounts and account numbers will stay the same.
Our routing number will stay the same.
Your current cards and checks will remain valid.
As cards and checks are replaced or reordered over time, you’ll begin to see the Linden name. During the transition, some newly issued or replacement cards may still carry the Badger Globe Credit Union name for a short time.
This is not a merger or an acquisition.
You’ll still find the same familiar team, ready to welcome you at our Green Bay Road branch.
We’re still the same member-owned credit union.
There is nothing you need to do because of the name change.
Questions? We have answers!
-
In 1947, nine Badger Globe mill workers pooled nine dollars to create a credit union for employees and their families. Our name came from the mill and has proudly reflected our roots for nearly 80 years.
Over time, our membership grew beyond those roots. In 2025, we expanded membership to anyone who lives, works, or attends school across our seven counties. We found that the Badger Globe name sometimes gave people the impression that they weren’t eligible to join. To remain strong for the generations ahead, we need a name that honors where we came from while welcoming our broader communities.
What isn’t changing is the credit union behind the name. You’ll still work with the same team, at the same branch, with the same personal care and commitment to our members.
-
Linden is named after the linden tree, which is known as a “community tree.” Linden trees were often planted in town centers as places where people could gather, connect and spend time together.
That felt like a natural fit for us. We’re here to grow alongside our members, stay connected to our community and support people through every stage of life. It also connects back to our history—the nine people who started this credit union in 1947 planted the roots for something they hoped would last for generations.
-
No. This is a name change and nothing more. We are the same independent, member-owned credit union we’ve always been, with no merger, no acquisition, and no outside owner. We are not moving and we are not going anywhere.
-
The branch is not closing or moving, and we hope you keep coming in. You will find us at 260 N Green Bay Road in Neenah with the same people behind the desk and the same hours you are used to: lobby hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and drive-up hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

For your day-to-day banking, very little changes. Your accounts, your account numbers, our routing number, your existing cards, and your checks all stay exactly as they are. What you will notice is a new name and look, a new website in early October, and a refreshed look inside the mobile app you already use.
-
Nothing at all. Your accounts and your access will still work as always. Account numbers will not change, and cards and checks will continue to function as usual.
-
No. Your accounts, rates, fees, and terms are unchanged. Nothing about your membership with the credit union changes because of the new name.
-
Yes. Keep using them exactly as you do today. Your cards will keep working at the register and the ATM, and merchants will keep accepting your checks. There is no cutoff date and no action needed on your end.
-
Your current cards and checks stay valid for as long as they normally would. When your card comes up for its regular reissue or you order more checks, the new ones will carry the Linden name.
During the transition, some newly issued or replacement cards may still carry the Badger Globe Credit Union name for a short time.
If you have a Mastercard credit card, you will receive a new Visa credit card, with a new card number. Because your card number is changing, any automatic or recurring payments connected to your current Mastercard will need to be updated with your new Visa card information. Your credit limit, payment due date and other account details will remain the same.
-
No. You will see a new name and look once the mobile app update arrives. Most phones will update it automatically, and if yours asks you to update the app, that is all it takes.
Please note: If you use Face ID or fingerprint login, you’ll need to enter your Login ID and Password the first time you log in after the app update. You can then re-enable biometric login.
-
No. Because your account number and our routing number are not changing, there is nothing you need to re-enter or set up again.
-
Your recurring payments will keep running on schedule. Because your account number and our routing number are not changing, automatic payments, direct deposits, and transfers all continue without interruption. There is nothing you need to re-enter or set up again.
-
Yes. Your account number stays exactly as it is.
-
Yes. The ATM at our Neenah branch and the CO-OP network of surcharge-free ATMs nationwide stay available to you throughout. Your card and PIN work the same way they always have.
-
Yes. We’ve heard your feedback about our current website, and a new, easier-to-use website is on the way. It will be simpler to navigate, easier to find what you need, and will reflect our new Linden Credit Union name and look.
Our new website is planned to launch in early October.
We’ll send email updates as we get closer to launch. And if you visit our old website after the change, don’t worry, you’ll be automatically redirected to the new one.
-
Yes. Your username and password stay the same, and so does everything inside your account: your history, your scheduled payments, and your saved settings. You will simply reach the login from our new website.
-
We do not expect any downtime. Your accounts, cards, and online banking are designed to carry straight through the transition. If anything does need to pause briefly, we will tell you ahead of time.
-
No. Our routing number remains 275980751.
-
Yes. We are a member-owned credit union that has served this community for nearly 80 years, and this change comes from a position of strength rather than pressure. Your deposits remain federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000, and our earnings continue to go back to members in the form of better rates, lower fees, and support for our community.
-
No. This change is about our name, not our staffing. The same people who know your name will be here to greet you just as they always have.
-
No. The same leadership team and the same volunteer Board of Directors are guiding the credit union through this change. Our board is made up of local members you elect, so the people answering for this credit union are still the people who live here.
If you have questions, we would rather you ask than wonder.
